We are looking for you!!!! Summary: Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing and payment of the company’s bills and invoices from its vendors. This person will match invoices to purchase orders, code and post invoices into accounting system, and schedule payments based on payment terms with vendors. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is the company’s first point of contact with its vendors and suppliers. This position works under the supervision of the Controller.Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator are:Match purchase orders and invoices and verify accurate data and pricing Code invoices to the appropriate G/L account and post into accounting system Set payment schedule for invoices to ensure timely payment within the vendor’s terms Reconcile vendor accounts with vendor’s monthly statements and balance accounts Identify and resolve discrepancies with vendor accounts and invoices Maintain vendor files Provide support to other accounting functions as required Qualifications & Skill Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required, A.S. in accounting preferred Previous accounting or administrative experience preferred Previous experience working in an automotive dealership environment a plus Must have analytical skills and be able to multitask and problem solve Strong written and oral communication skills desired for effective communication with vendors, accounting staff, and personnel in other divisions within the company Principals only.
